AWANA stands for "A Worker Approved Not Ashamed". It is based on 2 Timothy 2:15 where the Apostle Paul urges his young apprentice, Timothy, to "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth". And this is our aim in AWANA - to come alongside parents to join them in their responsibility to disciple their children so that they may know the Word of God and come to treasure Jesus Christ above all earthly things.
What do we do at AWANA?
At AWANA, you will play awesome games, learn Bible verses, win awards and prizes, sing new songs, and learn about the Bible in a fun interactive way. AWANA is for ages 3 years old through 5th grade and each club member will get their very own handbook and T-shirt or vest. We hope you will join in the fun as we start on this new adventure together.
